Job summary

ManpowerGroup UK is seeking a professional Security Guard to join a highly secure site in Bordon, Hampshire. You will be the first line of defence, conducting site patrols, CCTV monitoring, and access control to safeguard critical facilities.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence, SC clearance eligibility, and a 43-hour week (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off). It is a permanent contract with a competitive package and career progression.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Valid UK passport required.
• Eligibility to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Calm under pressure with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site patrols and security checks.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
• Control access for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Undertake vehicle, baggage, and personnel searches.
• Perform escort duties across the site.
• Issue and manage site keys and security equipment.
• Record incidents and maintain documentation.
• Complete security reports and logs.
• Liaise with emergency services and external agencies when required.
• Support ongoing security training and development initiatives.
