Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting a Security Guard for a highly secure communications site in the UK. You will protect critical national infrastructure as the first line of defence, performing patrols, access control and incident recording.

The role offers a fixed full-time 43-hour rota with two days and two nights on shift, and four days off. Applicants should be reliable, observant and capable of maintaining high security standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Valid UK passport.
• Eligibility to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conducting site patrols and security checks.
• Monitoring CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
• Controlling access for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Undertaking vehicle, baggage, and personnel searches.
• Performing escort duties across the site.
• Issuing and managing site keys and security equipment.
• Recording incidents and maintaining documentation.
• Completing security reports and logs.
• Liaising with emergency services and external agencies.
• Supporting ongoing security training and development initiatives.
