Job summary

Jenoptik in Farnborough is seeking an Information Technology Security Expert to provide security-focused technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure ISO 27001 compliance across client environments.

You will document actions for audits, communicate security implications clearly, and collaborate with Global DPO and security teams to maintain data confidentiality. Office-based role in Aerospace Boulevard.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical support role in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 frameworks and data protection principles.
• Security clearance or vetting is desirable for the role.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, network systems, and software with security as a priority.
• Document actions for audits and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Guide customers through secure troubleshooting steps and explain security implications.
• Identify and escalate potential security incidents following incident response procedures.
