Job summary

Jenoptik is seeking an Information Security Officer for our Farnborough office. The role blends technical support with a security-first mindset to ensure ISO 27001 and data protection compliance across client environments.

You will diagnose issues, configure hardware/software, triage incidents, and maintain audit-ready documentation while communicating security implications to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Office-based role with potential flexibility during critical incidents.

Qualifications

• Experience applying ISO 27001 controls and data protection principles.
• Ability to explain security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with incident triage and audit-ready documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot security-relevant issues in hardware, network systems, and software while applying security best practices.
• Provide clear feedback to customers on security implications of resolutions.
• Triaging incidents and escalating when needed following incident response procedures.
• Maintain detailed documentation for audits and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with Information Security and Customer Service teams to strengthen security posture.
