Job summary

Jenoptik in Farnborough is seeking a Security-First Technical Support specialist who will diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues while applying strict ISO 27001 and data protection practices.

You will communicate security implications to customers, document audit trails, and coordinate with Global DPO, Customer Service Desk and Field Teams to strengthen overall security posture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a technical support role with security is paramount.
• Strong familiarity with ISO 27001 frameworks and data protection principles.
• Familiarity with networking, Data Center operations, Cloud security, and general IT security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, network systems and software, applying security best practices.
• Provide timely feedback to customers, explaining the security context of resolutions.
• Guide customers through secure troubleshooting steps to protect data integrity.
• Identify, quarantine, and escalate potential security incidents following incident response procedures.
