Job summary

Tesco across Yarmouth and Beccles areas is seeking a Service Maintenance Technician - Security to keep stores safe, functional and welcoming. You’ll perform planned and reactive maintenance on security systems and related equipment, ensuring compliance and high standards.

You’ll collaborate with store teams and contractors, prioritise safety, and use mobile devices to update progress, with training and career growth opportunities within one of the UK’s best-known retailers.

Qualifications

• Security-related technical skills with City & Guilds or apprenticeship.
• Experience with CCTV (analogue & IP) is essential.
• Health and safety awareness and driving license are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Tesco sites are safe and functioning for customers and colleagues.
• Follow planned work schedules to achieve first-time fix and efficiency.
• Coordinate repairs with external contractors and internal teams.
• Maintain equipment and facilities across stores.
• Use mobile devices to drive updates and work completion.
• Represent Tesco values and wear the Tesco uniform with pride.
• Minimize disruption to customers during repairs.
