Job summary

Tesco Stores Limited across Oxford and surrounding areas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our stores safe, functional and welcoming. You’ll perform planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems, using a tablet to view schedules and coordinate with contractors while prioritising safety and quality.

You’ll join a skilled team with ongoing training, development opportunities, and the chance to grow within one of the UK’s best known retail brands.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment.
• Digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
• Health & Safety and collaborative work practices are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Tesco sites are safe and functioning for customers and colleagues.
• Following planned work schedules to achieve first-time fixes.
• Collaborating with team members and sharing best practices.
• General day-to-day store and property maintenance.
• Using mobile devices to drive updates and task completion.
• Representing Tesco values and maintaining a positive attitude in uniform.
• Attending local and national meetings and providing feedback.
• Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.
