Pacific Life Re is seeking a Security Engineering Manager to lead security initiatives across systems, data, and infrastructure. You will drive AI-enabled security capabilities within a product delivery model, working with Agile squads and multiple stakeholders to improve risk posture.

You will bring 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, broad domain knowledge, and hands-on expertise in SIEM, EDR, and cloud security.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity roles with broad security domain knowledge.
• Experience applying AI/ML to security use cases with measurable outcomes.
• Experience in product delivery models, backlog and roadmap management, and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead security projects and review security tooling across the organisation.
• Assess risks, implement secure by design practices and security controls.
• Deliver AI-enabled security capabilities as products with backlogs and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with risk, legal, privacy, data governance and enterprise architecture teams.
• Support compliance efforts and provide guidance on security governance.
