DV Trading in London offers a mentored Security Engineer Intern to support day-to-day security operations, triage detections, tune tooling and automate workflows. Under a mentor you will help with risk assessments, control testing, reporting and metrics while expanding your skills in Windows/macOS/Linux, scripting and incident response. This hands-on summer program is ideal for students pursuing CS or InfoSec who want practical experience in a trading firm's security team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a relevant degree and keen to learn security concepts.
• Interest in cybersecurity and willingness to learn quickly.
• Basic familiarity with Windows/macOS/Linux and networking.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day security operations
• Triage, document and track detections and incidents
• Tune and maintain security tooling
• Build automation and scripts for security workflows
• Support risk assessments, gap analysis and control testing
• Produce security reporting and metrics
