Job summary

DV Trading LLC in London is seeking a Security Engineer Intern to gain hands-on exposure to a real trading firm's security program and work with security engineers on scoped projects supporting operations, threat detection, and risk management.

You will support day-to-day security operations under mentorship, help triage detections, tune tooling, contribute to automation, assist with risk analyses, and help produce security reporting and awareness initiatives across the firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant degree in CS or information security.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and eagerness to learn.
• Basic familiarity with Windows/macOS/Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.
• Exposure to scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.) is a plus.
• AI/ML coursework or projects is a plus.

DV Trading's security team is looking for a Security Engineer Intern to get hands-on exposure to a real trading firm's security program. You'll work directly with our security engineers on scoped projects that support day-to-day operations, threat detection, and risk management in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Interest in cybersecurity and eagerness to learn
• Basic familiarity with Windows/macOS/Linux and networking fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills
• Exposure to scripting or programming (Python, Powershell, etc) is a plus
• Coursework or personal projects involving AI/ML is a plus
