Job summary

Netcraft is a global leader in cybercrime detection and disruption. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the development of core platforms used by major institutions across public and private sectors.

You will join a specialised engineering team focusing on scalable infrastructure, anti-phishing detection, web vulnerability analysis, or UI refinements. This role can be based in London, Bath, or Manchester.

Qualifications

• Curious, adaptable and motivated individuals who are passionate about coding and eager to grow.
• No cybersecurity experience required, just a willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.
• Experience working collaboratively in teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Interest in internet technologies, network security, data mining, or web-based UIs.
• Solid academic track record.
• Strong imperative programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and enhancement of core platforms and services.
• Work on scaling infrastructure and improving performance of anti-phishing systems.
• Develop tools to monitor and analyse web vulnerabilities and refine internal/external UIs.
• Help scale the classification system processing millions of URLs daily.
• Assist in automating workflows to remove malicious content from the internet.
