Job summary

Gamma is seeking a proactive Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain technical security controls across its UK and Europe products. You will help shape security standards and collaborate with Technology, Engineering and IT teams to identify risks and drive improvements.

You’ll act as a key contact between Security Engineering and Security Operations during incidents, contribute to security tooling, and advance our security architecture and capabilities within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, and delivering technical security controls.
• Ability to work across Windows, Linux, containers, and cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Eligible to work in the UK and pass a basic DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain technical security controls across Gamma’s products, apps, systems and networks.
• Develop, maintain, and improve security standards, controls, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Technology, Engineering, and IT teams to identify and resolve security risks and issues.
• Apply modern, best-practice security approaches across the tech stack.
• Act as a key contact between Group Security Engineering and Security Operations during incidents.
• Serve as Gamma’s SME for security tooling and technical controls.
• Contribute to security thought leadership and future security architecture.
