Job summary

HSB Technical Ltd is seeking a Security Engineer to install, service and fault-find CCTV and Access Control systems across commercial sites in North London, Hertfordshire and Essex.

You will perform maintenance visits, diagnose faults, complete service reports and provide excellent customer service while working to industry standards. 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with overtime and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience with CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Minimum 1 year in the security industry.
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
• 1 year driving experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance visits.
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults on security systems.
• Completing service reports and relevant documentation.

Security Engineer

Typically, this person will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of CCTV and Access Control systems across commercial and industrial customer sites throughout North London, Hertfordshire, and Essex.

• Strong communication and customer-facing abilities.

Working Hours & Package:

• 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday.
• Working hours between 07:00 and 17:00.
• Overtime available.
• Participation in the call-out rota required.
• Company vehicle provided.
• Power tools, drills, and specialist equipment provided (hand tools required).
• Salary between £24,000 and £40,000 depending on experience.
• Covering North London, Hertfordshire, and Essex.
