Job summary

Vaultex is seeking a senior Security Leader to head the Security function, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust risk management across the business. You will lead the Centralised Control rooms, coordinate security equipment and third-party services, and drive continuous improvements in security posture.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to build senior-level relationships with stakeholders while managing budgets and travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in leading a complex security function.
• Experience with Physical & Security Equipment and technical systems.
• Experience of security / risk mitigation at a senior level.
• Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Degree level education.
• Proven people development and process skills.
• Willingness for overnight stays and UK travel.
• Experience with budget planning and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Drive the activities of the Security team in line with risk frameworks.
• Deliver security and risk mitigation strategies for current and future needs.
• Identify and address security equipment issues and control failures.
• Lead regular reviews of security standards to meet regulatory requirements.
• Manage Centralised Control rooms and ensure Bank of England standards.
