Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a seasoned Security Design Engineer to lead and manage engagements, developing physical and electronic security solutions for clients across the UK and Europe. You will work with senior leaders to grow the service line, create IP, and mentor junior staff.

You will build strong client relationships, manage budgets, and deliver projects to a professional standard while exploring business development opportunities and contributing to strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security design engagements and delivering to professional standards.
• Knowledge of national and international standards for physical security design.
• Thorough understanding of designing physical and electronic security systems across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements and manage projects within scope and budget.
• Produce reports, specifications, and drawings through RIBA Plan of Work stages.
• Maintain client relationships and act as trusted advisor.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development.
