Job summary

Carbon60 Project Services is recruiting for Delivery Team Service Lead in the Security as a Service Team based at Semaphore Tower, HMNB Portsmouth. The role oversees security elements across RN projects and chairs through-life security planning for Navy Digital programs.

Ideal candidates will have MOD clearance, cyber risk experience, and strong communication; familiarity with maritime contexts is a plus, with a focus on delivering secure digital outcomes.

Qualifications

• MOD security clearance or willingness to undergo SC clearance.
• Experience in security assurance and cyber risk.
• Knowledge of industry standards and cyber security.
• Naval or maritime background is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to follow laid down processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as central focal point for managing security elements across RN capability.
• Provide overseen planning for through-life security activity in Navy Digital.
• Develop accreditation and assurance strategies for maritime security needs.
• Produce key information assurance artefacts (RMADS, DPIA, risk cases).
• Enable rapid Navy Digital software/hardware delivery while meeting security requirements.
• Identify, report and escalate cyber risk across Navy Digital and RN.
• Interface with MoD Information Assurance stakeholders (Cyber Defence, Risk Accreditor).
• Adapt to future security requirements and MOD policy changes.
• Provide knowledge to implement security controls in fixed RN locations.
