Job summary

HMS Excellent invites applications for Delivery Team Service Lead in the Security as a Service Team to join Navy Digital and deliver secure ICT capabilities across RN programmes. Based at Semaphore Tower, Portsmouth, the role requires coordinating security elements, accreditation strategies, and reporting cyber risk to MoD stakeholders.

You will prioritise security requirements, allocate SQEP, oversee through-life security activities, and help enable rapid, secure software and hardware delivery

Qualifications

• MOD security clearance or willingness to obtain SC level.
• Experience in security assurance and/or cyber risk.
• Knowledge of industry standards and cyber security risk.
• Naval/maritime background advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to follow laid down process.
• Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide central focal point for managing security elements across RN capability (fixed and deployed).
• Prioritise security requirements against RN objectives and outputs.
• Allocate SQEP from central security service to Navy Digital projects.
• Manage resource against demand for the service within the RN.
• Coordinate through-life security activity across Navy Digital delivery and programmes.
• Develop accreditation and assurance strategies for maritime defence environments.
• Produce Information Assurance deliverables (RMADS, DPIAs, etc.).
• Support rapid, secure development and delivery of Navy Digital software/hardware in agile ways.
