Job summary

Technify Talent Limited in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Security Controller to lead the client’s protective-security function, partnering with senior leadership to support growth and ensure security enables delivery.

You will own personnel security, government compliance, physical protection and handling of classified information, acting as the organisation’s principal authority on protective security, with exposure to FSC, GovS 007 and UKSV processes.

Qualifications

• Experience as Security Controller or in a comparable protective-security role.
• Strong knowledge of FSC, GovS 007, IPSA and National Security Vetting.
• Hands-on experience managing UKSV sponsorship and vetting across BPSS, SC and DV.
• Knowledge of physical security, classified information and protective-security controls.
• Experience managing Government inspections, customer audits and security assurance.

Responsibilities

• Own the security framework, policies, risk register and protective-security controls.
• Maintain Facility Security Clearance and ensure GovS 007, IPSA and Government requirements.
• Oversee BPSS, SC and DV processes, including UKSV sponsorship, renewals and aftercare.
• Align clearance requirements with hiring, mobilisation and new opportunities.
• Safeguard sites, people, sensitive assets and classified information.
• Lead preparations for Government inspections and security audits.
• Advise senior leadership on security risks and drive improvements.
• Maintain NATO and international security arrangements where applicable.
