Accenture plc is recruiting a Security Controller to lead government security, vetting and security assurance across Health & Public Safety and Aerospace & Defence accounts. You will provide senior security guidance and ensure compliance with UK requirements, including overseas and multinational programmes.

The role requires managing BPSS/SC/DV vetting, overseeing facilities security, and acting as primary contact with ISAC, reporting to senior leaders and clients with gravitas and diplomacy.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of UK Government security and National Security Vetting frameworks (GovS 007, JSP 440, MOD CSM, SPF, IPSA).

Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced Security Controller to lead government security, vetting and security assurance across our Health & Public Safety and Aerospace & Defence Accounts.You'll provide senior-level security guidance and oversight across three key areas: Personnel security and vetting, Facility and physical security, Security governance and risk management A key focus of the role will be managing complex and international security requirements, including overseas and dual nationals, multinational programmes and personnel who fall outside standard UK National Security Vetting arrangements.You'll also act as the named Security Controller and primary contact with the Industrial Security Assurance Centre (ISAC), working closely with senior leaders, clients, contracting authorities and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Security & Vetting: Support the delivery of BPSS, SC and DV vetting in line with government requirements.
• Personnel Security & Vetting: Lead complex vetting cases involving non-UK and internationally mobile personnel.
• Personnel Security & Vetting: Manage F1686 approvals for UK subcontractors and overseas collaborations.
• Personnel Security & Vetting: Work with clients, programme teams and international security authorities to resolve clearance requirements.
• Personnel Security & Vetting: Maintain appropriate personnel security policies, records and risk controls.
• Facility & Physical Security: Oversee security across government-accredited facilities, including List X/List N sites and Government Classified Assets.
• Facility & Physical Security: Support physical security assessments, site reviews and accreditation activity.
• Facility & Physical Security: Ensure appropriate controls are in place for access, visitors, secure areas and storage.
• Facility & Physical Security: Lead security assurance activity and provide clear reporting to senior leadership.
• Security Governance & Risk: Act as the named Security Controller and principal contact with ISAC.
• Security Governance & Risk: Ensure compliance with relevant UK Government security requirements, including GovS 007, JSP 440, MOD CSM and Security Aspects Letters.
• Security Governance & Risk: Advise senior leaders and clients on security obligations, risks and controls.
• Security Governance & Risk: Lead the response to security incidents and breaches, including investigation, escalation and remediation.
• Security Governance & Risk: Chair the quarterly Security Working Group and drive improvements to security policies and processes.
• Security Governance & Risk: Provide security input into bids, proposals and new contracts.
• Security Governance & Risk: Deliver security awareness activities and promote a strong security culture.

Person Specification

• Strong knowledge of UK Government security and National Security Vetting frameworks, including GovS 007, JSP 440, MOD CSM, SPF and IPSA.
• Experience supporting or managing BPSS, SC and DV vetting, including complex or international cases.
• Experience working with ISAC or a comparable government security body.
• Experience managing government-accredited facilities and Government Classified Assets.
• Strong security governance, assurance, risk management and incident management experience.
• Experience advising senior stakeholders and clients within a large, complex organisation.
• Experience within Health & Public Safety and/or Aerospace & Defence.
• Experience with F1686 approvals and multinational security programmes would be highly desirable.

Essential requirements

• Current DV clearance, or able to obtain it.
• IQ Level 3 Organisation Award for the Security Controller within the Defence Industry, or DISA-certified equivalent.
• DISA Security Vetting Procedures certification.
