Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced Security Controller to detect and prevent accidents, crimes, and incidents at one of our esteemed sites.

You will work approximately 42 hours per week on a rotation of 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off.

What you will need:

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
• Valid SIA CCTV Licence
• Previous control room experience (desirable)
• Previous CCTV system experience (desirable)
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages (e.g., Excel)
• Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards

What you will do:

• Liaise daily with peers, operational management teams, and the client
• Operate, monitor, and prioritize all security systems in the Control Centre, ensuring compliance with site-specific instructions and legislation
• Manage access and egress according to site-specific instructions
• Record all events and actions monitored from the control room
• Respond to incidents or security issues promptly
• Report technology faults following escalation procedures
• Coordinate with emergency services and security providers to maintain high standards
• Produce incident reports in line with client and company standards
• Ensure the safety of all persons on site
• Perform ad hoc duties as required
