THG is seeking a skilled Security Concierge at Hale Country Club & Spa in Timperley, near Manchester. You will maintain a safe, secure environment while delivering exceptional service to guests within a luxurious setting.

The role involves first-point-of-contact duties, incident reporting, and collaboration with Front Desk to ensure a seamless guest experience. The position requires a valid SIA Door Supervision license and First Aid at Work certification, with prior security experience in hotels

Qualifications

• Possession of valid Door Supervision SIA license.
• Valid First Aid at work certificate.
• Experience in hotel or similar environment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for guests, creating a positive first impression.
• Ensure only authorised individuals access the premises and maintain a secure environment.
• Monitor surveillance and patrol to maintain safety.
• Assist guests with questions, directions, and support.
• Respond calmly to emergencies and follow procedures.
• Collaborate with Front Desk to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Communicate security concerns with other departments.
• Handle guest issues professionally and resolve conflicts.
• Stay alert and report suspicious activities.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance.
• Document incidents with supervisors and maintain detailed records.
• Participate in security training and continuous learning.

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and dedicated Security Concierge to join our team at Hale Country Club & Spa. In this role, you will be ensuring a safe and secure environment while delivering exceptional service that enhances our guests' experience. Your responsibilities will include upholding the highest standards of professionalism and excellence in every aspect of your work, ensuring that all security protocols and guest interactions align with our standards. Location: Hale Country Club & Spa, Clay Lane, Timperley, Altrincham WA15 7AF. Hours: 4 on x 4 off shift pattern, 42 hrs per week in average. • Communicate effectively with other departments to address security concerns and maintain a safe environment.
• Handle guest issues professionally and resolve conflicts.
• Stay alert and report suspicious activities.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Report incidents promptly to supervisors and ensure accurate and detailed documentation of all security-related matters.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance security knowledge and customer service skills.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and contribute ideas for improving security measures and guest experiences.

Requirements

• Possession of valid Door Supervision SIA license
• Valid First Aid at work certificate
• Previous experience working in a similar role, within a hotel or similar environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business, internal and external
• Problem-solving abilities
• Excellent customer service skills
• Flexibility and the ability to respond appropriately to changing situations
• Discretion and sensitivity
• The ability to maintain professional standards under pressure
