Babcock, a global defence and engineering company, is recruiting a Waterfront Systems Engineer to support submarine maintenance at the Faslane naval base. Based on site, you will help ensure the availability, reliability and safe operation of critical waterfront systems that support the Royal Navy's submarine fleet.

In this full-time role, you will lead and mentor the Waterfront Systems team, coordinate with the Facility Manager, and drive tasks that meet cost, quality, safety and schedule

Qualifikationen

• Supervisory or team leadership experience within a maintenance, repair, or engineering environment.
• Electrical maintenance experience gained within an industrial, marine, defence, engineering, manufacturing, or similar setting.
• Knowledge of safe systems of work, including areas such as working at height and confined spaces.
• Experience developing, mentoring, and supporting team members.
• Good information technology skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications.

Aufgaben

• Leading and supporting the Waterfront Systems team to deliver engineering and maintenance activities safely and effectively.
• Assisting the Waterfront Facility Manager to maximise the utilisation of people, equipment, and resources.
• Ensuring engineering tasks are completed in line with cost, quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
• Implementing and promoting health, safety, quality, and environmental standards across waterfront operations.
• Identifying, investigating, and resolving engineering and operational issues affecting waterfront systems.
