Job summary

PSR Solutions is recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a Reading project, on a site-based role with essential security clearance. You will lead daily operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure delivery to programme, budget and quality standards.

You will develop short-term programmes, manage safety compliance, and work closely with the Project Manager and wider team to achieve successful project outcomes. A strong background in construction and health and safety is required.

Qualifications

• Existing Security Clearance is essential.
• Proven experience as Site Manager for a main contractor.
• Experience delivering varied construction projects (commercial/education/healthcare/retail/new-build).
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and CDM requirements.
• CSCS/CSR card and SMSTS qualification held.
• First Aid at Work certification obtained.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades.
• Ensure activities delivered safely, on programme, within budget and quality standards.
• Develop and monitor short-term programmes to avoid delays; implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with Project Manager, QS and project team to ensure successful delivery.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, productivity and workmanship quality.
• Coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, plant and equipment.
• Conduct site meetings and maintain accurate progress reports.
