Job summary

LA International is seeking a PMO Planner in the United Kingdom to develop and maintain integrated project schedules for complex programmes. A current DV clearance is required, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders in governance reviews.

The role emphasizes baseline planning, monitoring of performance, and delivering metrics and dashboards while ensuring compliance with governance and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a PMO planning or scheduling role supporting complex programmes.
• Strong understanding of programme and project lifecycle planning.
• Experience maintaining integrated schedules across multiple projects or workstreams.
• Advanced knowledge of planning tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel with PowerPoint and Word skills.
• Experience using SharePoint and programme document repositories.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Highly organised, proactive, collaborative, and delivery focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and assure integrated project and programme schedules.
• Establish and manage baseline plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Maintain alignment between master programme plans and individual project schedules.
• Monitor schedule performance, identifying variances, slippage, risks, and dependencies.
• Produce planning metrics, dashboards, and reporting for governance forums and customer reviews.
• Support schedule assurance activities, health checks, and internal reviews.
• Promote planning best practice and ensure governance and contractual compliance.
• Support recovery planning and continuous improvement of planning processes, templates, and tools.
• Provide planning expertise and constructive challenge to Project and Programme Managers.
