Job summary

Scot Lewis Associates Limited is seeking an experienced DV-cleared Project Manager to lead delivery of complex engineering and Defence/National Security projects for UK customers. The role is based on-site in Malvern/Cheltenham with regular client engagement.

You will manage scope, schedule and budget, build strong stakeholder relationships, identify follow-on work and contribute to bids, while ensuring governance and security compliance across all activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex engineering, technology or Defence / National Security projects within demanding timescales.
• Experience managing internal project teams, subcontractors and external delivery partners.
• Strong background in stakeholder engagement within Defence, Government or National Security environments.
• APM PFQ / PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management qualification.
• Experience managing project risks, budgets, schedules and resources.
• Ability to work effectively within highly regulated and secure environments.

• Ensure projects are delivered in a safe, secure and compliant manner.

• Deliver project outcomes to agreed time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Manage project risks, issues and dependencies, resolving conflicts and competing priorities effectively.
• Maintain accurate financial forecasts, resource plans and delivery schedules.
• Ensure appropriate governance is applied throughout the project lifecycle, including reviews and reporting.
• Provide regular project status updates to senior stakeholders.
• Support business growth by identifying opportunities for follow-on work and contributing to bid activities.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate external suppliers to meet contractual obligations.
