Job summary

Onyx-Conseil is seeking an experienced PMO Manager with active DV clearance to lead governance, reporting, and controls across large, regulated UK programmes. The role demands strong leadership, financial acumen, and stakeholder management to drive delivery improvements.

You will head the PMO team, coordinate budgeting, forecasting, RAID, and change control, and ensure compliance with contractual and customer governance requirements, while fostering continuous process standardisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading PMO teams within large and complex programmes.
• Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Expertise in PMO governance, assurance, reporting, and programme controls.
• Experience in Defence, Government, or highly regulated programmes.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation or service delivery programmes.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint for governance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PMO team and oversee day-to-day PMO operations.
• Produce governance, financial, resource, and delivery reports.
• Support PMO activities defined in the PMO Charter.
• Oversee RAID, change, and governance processes.
• Support programme planning, reviews, and assurance activities.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and customer governance requirements.
• Manage resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and procurement.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of PMO processes.
• Act as a key point of contact for programme stakeholders.
