Job summary

Onyx-Conseil is seeking a PMO Planner to develop, maintain and assure integrated project schedules across complex programmes in the UK. You will align master plans with individual project schedules and report progress to governance forums.

The role requires an Active DV Clearance and strong skills in MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, and stakeholder communication. You will drive planning best practices and support recovery planning and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in PMO planning or scheduling for complex programmes.
• Understanding of programme and project lifecycle planning.
• Experience maintaining integrated schedules across multiple projects.
• Advanced Microsoft Project or equivalent planning tools.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
• Experience using SharePoint and document repositories.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly organised, proactive, collaborative, and delivery focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and assure integrated project and programme schedules.
• Establish and manage baseline plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Maintain alignment between master programme plans and individual project schedules.
• Monitor schedule performance, variances, risks, and dependencies.
• Produce planning metrics, dashboards, and reports for governance forums.
• Support schedule assurance activities and internal reviews.
• Promote planning best practices and governance compliance.
• Support recovery planning and process improvements.
• Provide planning expertise to Project and Programme Managers.
