Position: CCTV Operative (Safer Streets)

Location: North East Lincolnshire Council at Doughty Road Depot, Doughty Road, Grimsby

Salary: £30,000 - £31,000 per annum depending on skills and experience, plus benefits.

Shift Pattern:

Monday - Friday, with one evening and one weekend shift per month.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent security services, particularly within a CCTV control room environment.
• Participate in security patrols as required.
• Work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Support security operations at the North East Lincolnshire (NEL) contract.
• Operate in evening shifts of 37.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Sunday, including Bank Holidays and Christmas periods.
• Work based in the CCTV Control Room and Gatehouse.

Requirements:

• Current relevant SIA license for CCTV monitoring.
• Experience in the security industry with practical knowledge and skills.
• Ability to undergo and pass a Security Check (BS).

Qualifications:

• Essential: Interpersonal, communication, IT skills (including databases, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), creativity, customer care, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, time management, collaborative thinking, teamwork, flexibility, adaptability.
• Desirable: Full driving license.
