Job summary

Conventus Solutions Ltd in Corsham is seeking a SC or DV Security Assurance Coordinator for a 6-month hybrid contract based in Corsham. You will deliver security governance, risk, and compliance support across a secure environment.

Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments using NIST 800, implementing controls, coordinating health checks and penetration tests, producing evidence for assurance, and guiding staff on Secure by Design.

Qualifications

• Experience in security governance, risk, and compliance in secure or regulated environments.
• Experience applying Secure by Design principles in project staff guidance and documentation.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and recommending controls using established methodologies like NIST 800.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and routinely manage security risk assessments and security controls following NIST 800 methodologies.
• Produce security awareness material, briefings, and Security Operating Procedures for system users and maintainers.
• Provide SME guidance on Secure by Design and evaluate technical designs (HLDs/LLDs) for security risk.
• Manage third-party health checks, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments including remediation.
• Organise and chair the project Security Working Group and communicate threats.
• Support Security Architect/Engineer to ensure solutions meet risk tolerance and align with enterprise security.
