Job summary

SR2 REC LTD in Hampshire is seeking an experienced Security Analyst on a contract basis to support a security assurance programme within a complex software and technology environment.

You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure and security teams to review applications, assess risks and ensure assurance documentation is in place, with a hands-on focus on security by design and cyber risk management.

Qualifications

• Security by Design, cyber assurance and risk management requirements.
• Experience conducting application or system security assessments.
• Knowledge of security controls and risk identification.
• Experience reviewing security documentation and technical architectures.
• Understanding of SDLC and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Active SC Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assurance reviews across applications and systems.
• Assess existing technical documentation and identify security gaps.
• Support Secure by Design activities and assessments.
• Review architectures, infrastructure and security controls.
• Gather technical information and evidence from engineering teams.
• Identify security risks and remediation areas.
• Produce clear security assessments and assurance documentation.
• Maintain security records and outstanding actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve security and compliance issues.
• Support ongoing security governance and audits.
