Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions in York is seeking a Security Controller to oversee the company’s security systems, policies and compliance, working with staff and external security stakeholders. You will lead security assurance activities, develop and review security policies, produce risk assessments and audits, manage vetting for employees and visitors, and provide practical security guidance to colleagues at all levels.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and monitoring security activities.
• Experience developing security policies and procedures.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading security assurance activities and supporting List X / FSC compliance
• Developing, implementing and reviewing security policies and procedures
• Producing security risk assessments, audits, plans and supporting documentation
• Ensuring security processes are clearly communicated and understood
• Managing personnel security vetting for employees and visitors
• Acting as a key contact for relevant government security representatives and external authorities
• Providing security advice and guidance to employees at all levels
• Monitoring compliance and identifying areas for improvement
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Researching and analysing information to develop practical security solutions
