Job summary

Awerian is seeking a Site Security Controller to drive a strong physical security culture at our Cambridge site. You will lead policy development, risk assessment, and day-to-day security governance across the organisation.

You will collaborate with the Personnel Security Controller and senior leaders, overseeing onboarding, insider risk, and security training while ensuring compliance with government standards and site visits.

Qualifications

• Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
• Able to present complex security information to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative by nature with strong stakeholder engagement.
• Willing to deputise for the Personnel Security Controller as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site security policies and risk assessments.
• Manage assets, audits, muster processes and security records.
• Conduct security briefings and manage insider risk.
• Oversee onboarding for new starters and ongoing security awareness.
