Job summary

Fidelity, part of the Ranger FS Group, is seeking a Security and Fire Systems Service Engineer to cover Greater London. You will perform corrective and preventative maintenance on integrated security and life-safety systems for commercial sites, with on-site client liaison and on-call duties.

The role requires fault-finding, compliance with safety standards, and mentorship to junior engineers. A full-time, Mon-Fri schedule with on-call rotations and company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Corrective maintenance including fault finding and first-time fixes.
• Remedial and small works on site.

• Work with monitored systems and Alarm Receiving Centre.
• Mentor junior engineers and apprentices.
• Participate in on-call rota.

Security and Fire Systems Service Engineer

Full-time, Monday to Friday – 08.00 -17.00

Responsibilities

• Corrective maintenance works - to include fault finding, troubleshooting and a first-time fix whenever possible
• Remedial and small works
• Preventative maintenance
• Client on site liaison
• Working with monitored systems in liaison with our Alarm Receiving Centre
• Act as a Fidelity ambassador when out in the field
• Completion of all required site and electronic paperwork promptly and with attention to detail
• Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all required disciplines.
• Participate in regular ongoing internal and external technical, regulatory, and health and safety training
• Mentorship and guidance for junior engineers and apprentices
• Participate in out-of-hours On Call Rota

Salary and Benefits

• £32,000 - £40,500, depending on skills and experience
• Company vehicle and fuel card
• Out of hours On Call is required roughly one week in six.£385/week standby payment, plus callouts at:£90 for travel to and first hour on site, your standard overtime rate for subsequent hours
