Job summary

CIA Fire & Security, part of the Ranger Group, is seeking an experienced Key Account Fire & Security Engineer to manage a portfolio of valued customer sites across the Reading area. This role is the trusted engineering lead for key clients, delivering exceptional service and shaping long-term relationships.

The position offers a competitive salary in the region of £40,000–£50,000, plus a company vehicle, overtime, training, and progression within a fast-growing national group.

Qualifications

• Proven Fire & Security engineering experience
• Gent qualified
• Strong fault-finding skills across fire and/or security systems
• Professional customer-facing communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Managing planned maintenance and reactive service visits
• Diagnosing and resolving faults across fire and security systems
• Completing remedial works, upgrades and small projects
• Building strong relationships with customer contacts
• Providing technical recommendations and identifying improvement opportunities
• Delivering accurate reports and high-quality customer service
