Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Securitisation Lawyer to join the Securities & Asset Management Legal team. This permanent, full-time role is hybrid, with offices across multiple UK locations.

You will advise on securitisation transactions across asset classes and collaborate with various internal teams to manage legal risk and deliver innovative funding solutions. The role requires a legally qualified lawyer with post-qualification experience and the ability to navigate complex deal

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified with a current practising certificate.
• Post-qualification experience in either private practice or in-house to understand securitisation regulatory framework.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, pragmatic legal advice on securitisation transactions from structuring through execution and post-closing.
• Advising on transactions across asset classes such as residential mortgages, credit cards, auto loans, and trade receivables.
• Negotiating complex transaction documents with internal/external stakeholders and market participants.
• Supporting development and delivery of innovative funding and capital markets solutions aligned to commercial objectives.
• Building trusted relationships across Global Markets, Risk, Compliance and Legal & Secretariat.
• Monitoring regulatory developments affecting securitisation and debt capital markets products.
