Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Securitisation Lawyer within Securities & Asset Management Legal. The role covers structuring and execution of securitisation transactions across asset classes, with a focus on debt capital markets and regulatory risk.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Global Markets, Risk, Compliance and other Legal teams in a hybrid working model. You must be a legally qualified lawyer with a current practising certificate and demonstrable securitisation

Qualifications

Qualified and hold a current practising certificate in a relevant jurisdiction.
Experience in securitisations and debt capital markets with transferable legal skills.
Ability to analyse deal structures and documentation for securitisation transactions.
Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building abilities.
Growth mindset to broaden knowledge across DC markets and ESG topics.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, pragmatic legal advice on securitisation transactions from structuring to execution.
Advise on transactions across asset classes, identifying legal and regulatory risks.
Negotiate complex transaction documentation with stakeholders and external counsel.
Support development of innovative funding and capital markets solutions aligned to business goals.
Build trusted relationships across Global Markets, Risk, Compliance and Legal & Secretariat.
Monitor regulatory developments affecting securitisation and debt capital markets.
