Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is recruiting a Securitisation Lawyer for its Securities & Asset Management Legal (SAML) team. The role is hybrid, based in London with other offices, and focuses on securitisation transactions across assets.

You will work with Global Markets and other teams to shape structuring, risk management, and innovative funding solutions. The successful candidate will be legally qualified with practising certificate, possess securitisation experience, and demonstrate strong

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified and hold a current practising certificate in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience in securitisations and debt capital markets, with understanding of deal structures and documentation.
• Ability to provide sound, commercial legal advice and manage legal risk across transactions.
• Growth mindset, willingness to learn broader debt capital markets products and business.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, pragmatic legal advice on securitisation transactions from structuring discussions to execution and post-closing.
• Advise on asset classes such as mortgages, credit cards, auto loans and trade receivables.
• Negotiate complex transaction documentation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support development and delivery of innovative funding and capital markets solutions aligned to commercial objectives.
• Build trusted relationships across Global Markets, Risk, Compliance and Legal & Secretariat.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting securitisation and debt capital markets.
