PA Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking a service-oriented IT support specialist to help UK users outside London. You will build skills in customer service, automation, problem-solving and secure IT support while upholding security practices and robust procedures.
Working with a wider team, you will deploy and operate Windows and Azure environments, provide reports, and ensure the availability of critical systems.
This is an interesting and varied role where you will be responsible for support our UK users based outside of London. The role will allow you to develop your skills in areas such as excellent customer services, automation, problem-solving skills and secure IT support.
The successful candidate will work within a wider team to maintain a strong security stance, following strict processes and support to ensure the integrity of all IT services. Confident in deploying and operating a variety of systems to ensure that all environments are available, secure and operating as expected.
our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site.
Candidates must possess UK single-nationality and have resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years to obtain the security clearance level needed for this role. Candidates without this cannot be considered.
Please be aware that some of our UK roles at PA Consulting require a UK security clearance.
All PA people are required to undergo background checks and to achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard however, some UK roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, where applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.
We therefore ask that you only apply if you meet the residency requirements (i.e. you are a British citizen or have been resident in the UK for the past 5 years), as this is the prerequisite for a security clearance.
