Job summary

PA Consulting is seeking a security architect to define end-to-end security architecture and deliver solutions for complex programmes. You will design secure system architectures and work with agile teams across multiple clients.

The role requires a solid information security background, certifications (CISSP, CISM, IISP/CCP, TOGAF, SABSA), and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset. Hybrid working with 2 days in the office per week, plus opportunities to grow and gain certifications.

What You Can Expect

• Defining end‑to‑end security architecture and delivering solutions for projects or programmes, creating Conceptual, Logical, and Implementation Architecture views.
• Designing secure system architectures using patterns and principles to manage business and security risks.
• Reviewing and enhancing clients' current security measures by applying innovative security architecture solutions.
• Working to agile best practices and cross‑functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders. You’ll be using your technical skills to problem‑solve with our clients, as well as working on internal projects.
• Live in‑person whiteboarding sessions to problem‑solve as a team, alongside asynchronous communication on Teams.
• Hybrid working with the team on client site or in our office a minimum of two days per week, but the actual time may vary by role, including up to five days per week on a client site.

Please be aware that some of our UK roles at PA Consulting require UK security clearance. All PA people are required to undergo background checks and to achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard; some UK roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, where applicants must have at least five years of continuous residency in the UK.
