Responsibilities

• Caring for and safely transporting mental health patients
• Supporting patients with complex needs, ensuring transport is safe, secure and tailored
• Ensuring timely transport to and from hospitals, treatment centres, day units and other care locations
• Assessing risks and adopting safe working practices to reduce harm
• Transporting patients for assessment or treatment from the community, hospitals or prisons
• Working alongside specialist transport staff, police, mental health services and other healthcare professionals
