Job summary

CBSbutler Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Woking to install, maintain and support highly secure networking and communications equipment across UK sites.

The role is hybrid with four days onsite in Woking or client sites, and involves direct customer interaction in operational environments. You'll work with defence-secure systems, RF and encryption gear, and travel UK-wide with occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Degree or diplomas in engineering or equivalent military experience.
• Experience with secure government/defence environments is highly valued.
• Proven ability to install, troubleshoot and maintain secure systems on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain secure networking and communications equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and firmware upgrades.
• Diagnose hardware faults and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support Windows Server environments and virtualisation platforms.
• Provide remote support and deliver clear documentation.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.
