Position Summary
Due to its continuous growth, it is looking for an experienced segment manager. As a Segment Manager, you will be in charge of the maintenance and development of the specific volume of the industrial lubricants sector in France. This is a remote position in France with frequent local trips to customers in France. Experience in the industrial field is highly .
Responsibilities:
Appropriation of the sales volume and the specific objectives of the sector throughout France.
Responsible and responsible for the development of the target sector strategy for the industrial lubricants business across France.
Lead and coach the sector strategy of the regional distribution sales representatives and support them in the growth of regional sales.
To be the knowledge leader in France across the entire sector and to develop future product and service offerings to achieve the desired growth.
Manage the most important industry relationships and increase your market share.
Facilitate the exchange of information about new products and services between key customers and their technical/maintenance teams.
Using a pipeline process to track, develop, and close new accounts.
Develop an industry plan with the Distributor Lubrication Engineer (DLE)
Maximize time spent face-to-face with clients and regional DSRs with strong time management skills
Work with the Sales Manager, ELE, and Marketing Resources to design and support the industry programs deployed and to effectively develop and maintain higher value-added lubricant products and services.
Directly manage a sales team covering target sectors and a defined area.
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of the specific sector and good knowledge of France's marketing route for the sector.
Good sales management skills
Participate in and assist in coordinating contract bids and reviews.
Understand the legal, business, technical and product requirements for bidding
Help develop or refine sales strategy and policies related to planning.
Develop the sales organization and resources needed to meet annual performance targets
Forecasting awareness to ensure optimal product inventory levels are on-site and in the pipeline
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Strong ability to build relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
Execute exemplary levels of customer service.
Must be able to maximize sales, profitability of the company's brand products and services.
Strong communication and influence skills, with the ability to build trust internally with support functions and externally with our key clients.
Able to organize and plan effectively.
Maximize sales and profitability with sales force pipeline management.
Computer literacy with good presentation skills.
Valid driver's license.
DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
Previous experience in sales or BD in the lubricants industry.
Understanding of critical path equipment and maintenance practices.
Knowledge of key work practices, logistics, planning and certification.
Have a good customer base with key contacts.
Good understanding of sales force pipeline management tools or similar.
