Job summary

Enable Resourcing Limited seeks an experienced Section Engineer for a major highways improvement scheme in Colchester. You will oversee on-site engineering activities, manage setting out and surveying, and ensure works meet design and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include RAMS/ITPs, QA documentation, and liaising with design teams while supporting progress reporting and programme delivery on a well-established project team.

Qualifications

• Section Engineer with highways experience
• Experience delivering infrastructure/junction improvement schemes
• Proficient in setting out and surveying using Leica or Trimble equipment
• Good understanding of QA processes and documentation
• CSCS Card is required
• Full UK driving licence is required

Responsibilities

• Managing setting out and surveying activities
• Supervising subcontractors and site operations
• Ensuring works are carried out to specifications and design requirements
• Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and quality documentation
• Maintaining accurate records and as-built information
• Resolving technical issues and liaising with design teams
• Supporting commercial and project teams with progress reporting and programme delivery
• Promoting health, safety and environmental compliance
