Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting Welsh-speaking secondary supply teachers to support schools across Chester and the North Wales border. Opportunities range from flexible day-to-day cover to longer-term placements, with weekly pay and expert local support.

Ideal candidates hold QTS, are fluent in Welsh, and have KS3/KS4 experience. A current enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred) or willingness to apply is required to join the panel.

Qualifications

• QTS in any subject is required.
• Fluency in spoken and written Welsh.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Welsh-language lessons using provided plans for daily supply.
• Follow school policies and keep students on task.
• Leave brief feedback for the permanent class teacher at day’s end.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering engaging lessons using your Welsh language skills (with lesson plans already provided for you on daily supply!). Creating a positive, welcoming, and productive classroom environment.
• Following school policies and ensuring students stay on track with their work.
• Leaving brief, helpful feedback for the permanent class teacher at the end of the day.

What We Need From You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in any subject.
• Fluency in spoken and written Welsh.
• Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for a new one with our help).
• A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them succeed.
