Job summary

CER Education Recruitment is recruiting a Teaching Assistant (Secondary) in Halton, United Kingdom. The role is term-time only, with full-time or part-time options and a September start. Salary ranges from £90 to £105 per day, dependent on qualifications and experience.

You will support students from KS3 to KS5, with a focus on those needing additional assistance while aligning with the British curriculum and SEND support requirements.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of the British curriculum.
• Experience supporting students with SEND.
• Ability to work with KS3 to KS5 and foster inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to students, particularly those with SEND or additional needs.
• Support small group and 1:1 intervention as directed by teaching staff.
• Assist students in accessing the curriculum and staying engaged in learning.
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusion in line with school policies.
• Support teachers with classroom organisation and learning activities.
