Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support students across secondary schools in Kirklees. You will work with teachers to boost engagement and learning outcomes, providing one-to-one and small group support as needed.

The role suits experienced TAs, graduates, aspiring teachers, and others with relevant experience working with young people. DBS enhanced check is typically required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support students within lessons to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
• Work alongside teaching staff to deliver high-quality educational support.
• Provide one-to-one and small group interventions where required.
• Promote positive behaviour and support students' social and emotional development.
• Assist in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Support students with additional learning needs where required.
