Job summary

Academics is working with a supportive secondary school in Crewe, Cheshire East, seeking a Teaching Assistant to support KS3/KS4 with behavioural, emotional and pastoral needs. This full-time role starts ASAP until Christmas.

You will help create a calm, structured environment for reflection and build positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries and expectations. A pathway into teaching may develop over time.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in school, SEN, pastoral or behavioural settings.
• Calm, patient, resilient and confident managing challenging behaviour.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.

Academics are working with a supportive secondary school in Crewe, Cheshire East, who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support their ReflectionRoom. This is a full-time role starting ASAP until Christmas initially.

About the Role:

Applicant Requirements:

• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school, SEN, pastoral or behavioural setting
• Calm, patient, resilient and confident managing challenging behaviour
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young people
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
