Job summary

TeacherActive in Cardiff and surrounding areas is seeking a qualified General Secondary Teacher (QTS) for flexible day-to-day cover from September 2027. The role involves delivering day-to-day cover across a range of subjects in mainstream secondary schools.

You will join a supportive consultant team, gain access to CPD opportunities, and benefit from market-leading pay rates (£172.98 per day) and a referral scheme. DBS checks and references may be required as part of safeguarding and compliance.

Qualifications

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
• Experience teaching within UK mainstream secondary schools.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly across different subjects and school environments.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Positive, flexible and proactive approach to teaching.
