Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd is seeking an experienced Science Teacher for a long-term maternity cover in Horsham, starting from October. The role will involve delivering engaging KS3/KS4 science lessons and supporting student progress within a supportive department.

You will need QTS and experience teaching Science in a UK secondary setting, with strong classroom presence and adaptability to different environments. SEN experience is welcome but not required.

More Than Just Another Teaching Role

We're working with a well-regarded secondary school in Horsham seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join them from October on a maternity cover basis.

The majority of your timetable will be dedicated to delivering engaging Science lessons, helping students develop their understanding and enthusiasm for the subject. As with many secondary schools, there may be occasions where flexibility is required to provide cover support outside of your specialism, making adaptability and confidence in the classroom equally important.

The Role
