GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and proactive Secondary Teacher (Daily Supply) to work in schools in Ashington .
Job Summary:
As a Secondary Teacher - Daily Supply, you will be responsible for stepping into different classrooms, delivering pre-prepared lessons, and maintaining a positive and effective learning environment. Your ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and classroom settings, combined with strong classroom management skills, will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Follow pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure that students remain focused and on task.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Assess and provide feedback on student progress as required.
- Collaborate with permanent teaching staff to ensure continuity in learning and adherence to school policies.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in secondary education.
- Versatility and the ability to teach across various subjects and year groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
- The ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff.
